Your support can help us to provide
more education programs for children
Together, we can make amazing things happen!  When you become a Friend of The Canadian Canoe Museum, you are supporting a rich variety of programs that explore the canoe's enduring significance to the people of Canada.  Here are the kinds of things our Friends help fund:
  • Children's Education Programs
  • Visiting Artisans Program
  • Exciting New Exhibits
  • Documentation and Research

Your valuable contribution also helps conserve the Museum's historic canoe and kayak collection, the most extensive of its kind in the world.  These precious watercraft hold countless stories about Canada's people and their past, and require ongoing care to preserve them for future generations.

We need your support!  The Canadian Canoe Museum is not a government agency, it is a registered Canadian charity (#13378 1039 RR0001) and non-profit organization.  We depend on donations and supporters from across North America and the help of hundreds of volunteers.

Friends' Benefits

Join the growing number of Friends from coast to coast who help The Canadian Canoe Museum create exciting experiences for everyone! Or, sign up someone you know to our Friends program - it makes a great gift!

  • All Friends who give a minimum of $35/yr receive the Museum's quarterly newsletter Canoes.
  • Canadian tax receipts will be issued for the full value of all donations.
  • All Friends receive advance notice of upcoming courses, events and special programs at the Museum

Company of Adventurers ($250 +)

In addition to the above benefits, all donors who give $250 or more annually will be recognized as belonging to the Museum's Company of Adventurers.  As a member of this select group, your name will be proudly published in the Museum's newsletter (unless you prefer anonymity).  This is a great way to show your support and will encourage others to join the Company of Adventurers, too!

The Founders' Council ($1,000 +)

The Founders' Council is the group of the Museum's most committed and generous donors who give $1,000 or more annually.  Founders' Council members receive all of the above listed benefits for Friends and Company of Adventurers, as well as feature recognition inside the Museum on a distinctive display panel.
